Job Summary:

Transportation Permit Specialist
Review oversize and overweight permits for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with state laws and regulations.
Assess permit routes and restrictions to ensure safe travel for commercial carriers across the state.
Provide customer support to commercial carriers regarding permit status, updates, and requirements.
Utilize permit management and routing software, with data entry and system management responsibilities.
Work collaboratively within a small, diverse team environment.
Maintain and apply knowledge of motor carrier registration, transportation logistics, and relevant regulations.
Employ analytical skills to determine compliance and support decision-making.
Position is 100% on-site in Nashville, TN.
