About the role
Job Description:
This position is responsible for assisting/supporting Production by preparing Production schedules, determining resource requirements, updating inventory levels, etc.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist with preparing/updating production schedules Reviewing production specifications and plant capacity data and performing calculations to determine manufacturing processes, tools, and human resource requirements. Assist with preparing purchase orders and scheduling agreements Assist with creating and maintaining bills of material (BOMs), routings, work centers and costing data as needed. Enter/Update inventory level data Update and maintain the production board spreadsheet with customer orders and forecasts. Create and maintain any needed reports. Perform other related duties as assigned. EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS:High School Diploma or equivalent (GED). Associate Degree a plus. Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Effective communication skills.
