About the role
Fabrication Trainee (Stockton)ALL COUNTIES GLASS DISTRIBUTORS, INC. A growing Glass Fabrication and Distribution company located in Stockton, California is seeking qualified candidates to work in their Fabrication Facility in Stockton, California as a Fabrication Trainee. The selected candidate(s will be trained on how to perform routine tasks involving the Glass Fabrication Process. That would include the basics of: Cutting, Polishing, Seaming, Handling, Staging and various other tasks. We are a Safety and Quality conscience company and require all candidates to be compliant in those standards.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Willing to learn a new trade and grow with our company. Work under direct supervision of shift supervisor and department lead. Ability to work in a "Team" atmosphere.
QUALIFICATIONS:
No previous experience is required, However any previous Glass Handling experience is a major plus. Must be able to Lift 50 pounds frequently and 75 occasionally. Must have reliable transportation Ability to read, write and speak in English. Ability to work Night Shift. US Citizen or Green Card holder Must be able to read a tape measure (Test will be given at Interview)Must be able to pass a mandatory pre employment Physical and Drug Screening.
