Role Description:
This full-time remote Human Resources Specialist role focuses on delivering day-to-day HR support to employees and managers across the organization. Responsibilities include administering HR policies and procedures, supporting employee onboarding and offboarding, and assisting with employee benefits inquiries and coordination. The specialist will help manage personnel records, ensure compliance with employment laws and internal guidelines, and provide guidance on HR-related questions. Daily tasks also involve partnering with HR management on employee relations matters, supporting performance and development processes, and contributing to HR projects aimed at improving policies, programs, and overall employee experience. This role requires strong communication, confidentiality, and the ability to work independently while collaborating virtually with cross-functional teams.
Qualifications:
Candidates should possess skills in Human Resources (HR) and HR Management to support daily HR operations and strategic initiatives. Candidates should possess skills in HR Policies and Personnel Management to ensure consistent application of guidelines and effective handling of employee records and processes. Candidates should possess skills in Employee Benefits to assist with benefits administration, employee inquiries, and compliance with applicable regulations. Candidates should have strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills to effectively support employees and managers in a remote environment. Candidates should have experience with HR information systems (HRIS), basic data analysis, and proficiency in standard office software tools. Candidates should ideally hold a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or have equivalent relevant experience; HR certifications (such as SHRM-CP or PHR) are a plus. Candidates should demonstrate knowledge of employment law basics, confidentiality practices, and the ability to work across diverse teams and locations.
