Job Overview: Position will work in Weld, Round, and Flange and will weld, cut and braze metal pieces and products by using flame-cutting and hand welding equipment.
Key Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Able to read tags. Ability to tack weld with MIG weld. Able to correctly and efficiently flange pipe. Build and stuff wall fittings. Able to correctly change lead and liner. Ability to use and read a tape measure. Setup welder correctly according to specifications. Able to choose the correct shielding gas and attach to welding gun. Other duties may be assigned.

High school education (or equivalent) preferred and/or previous factory experience preferred with 0 to 2 years' experience. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in standard units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Ability to adhere to delegation of authority and lead by instructions of management and supervision. Basic computer skills may be preferred or required. Attendance is an essential job requirement defined as having regular, consistent, reliable, punctual and predictable attendance including the ability to work regular hours and shifts, overtime before and after shifts and on weekends. Ability to work as part of a team, including all related departments/plants or independently as required achieving internal and external customer satisfaction.
Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee frequently is required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to sit and talk or hear. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 100 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 200 pounds with the assistance of other employees. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is frequently exposed to vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
