Job Description: Job Description In-Shop Diesel Mechanic - Day ShiftSanta Fe Springs, CA $40.00-$45.00/hour Monday-FridayWe have an immediate opening for an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join a busy, well-equipped shop in Santa Fe Springs. This is a full-time day-shift position working Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM. You will work alongside an experienced team maintaining and repairing diesel trucks and trailers.
Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues
  • Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on diesel trucks and trailers
  • Read and interpret wiring diagrams and schematics
  • Handle a wide variety of repairs and maintenance
  • Work independently while also contributing to a team environment
Requirements:
  • 5+ Years previous professional experience as a Diesel Technician
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
  • Experience working on diesel trucks and trailers
  • Ability to read diagrams and schematics
  • Welding experience is a strong asset but is not required
  • Compensation & Schedule
Pay: $40.00-$45.00/hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM-3:00 PM
Location: Santa Fe Springs, CATechnicians with strong welding experience may qualify for a substantial increase in compensation.
