About the role
Technical Support Technician to provide technical assistance to customers and field service technicians, with a focus on electronic programming, electrical, and mechanical equipment.
Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot technical, electrical, mechanical, and programming issues by phone, text, email, and video. Support field technicians during equipment installation and service. Use technical manuals, CAD drawings, electrical diagrams, and other resources to diagnose problems. Document support activity and identify recurring issues and potential product defects. Work with manufacturing and operations to resolve quality and warranty concerns. Help develop troubleshooting guides, technical bulletins, training materials, and product updates.
Qualifications:
Technical support or troubleshooting experience with electronic, electrical, or mechanical equipment. Strong problem-solving and customer service skills. Excellent communication skills and ability to remain patient with customers. Proficient with Microsoft Office; ERP/CRM or service database experience is a plus. Self-motivated and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
