BCforward is seeking a highly motivated and experienced DevOps Engineer / Cloud Support Engineer
Note: Candidate must be local to AZ.
Job Title: DevOps Engineer / Cloud Support Engineer
Job Location: Phoenix, AZ - Hybrid Role
Duration: Long-term
Pay Rate: $60/hr W2 and up to $68 CTC
Must Have:
  • Strong Cloud support experience- Suppoting public cloud an leading calls to completions
  • Strong AWS background- This will take the most time of their day now.
  • EKS Networking, EKS Clusters, Kubernetes
  • Exposure to other environments like AZURE, and GCPUndertands databases
  • Must be able to work Saturday or Sunday shift 1 month out of 3 months. They will be flexible with the additional day off.
Nice to Have: AI Automation experience Oracle cloud support
Job Description:
  • Hands-on experience with AWS/GCP services including EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, Lambda, ECS or EKS, RDS or DynamoDB, API Gateway, EventBridge, and CloudWatch, BigTable, BigQuery, Vertex AI, Gemini Assist
  • Experience supporting production environments, incident management, change management, and root-cause analysis.
  • Strong knowledge of IAM roles and policies, least-privilege access, security groups, and network controls.
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as CloudWatch, Splunk, Dynatrace, or comparable platforms.
  • Working knowledge of Terraform or Cloud
  • Formation and scripting with Python, Bash, or AWS CLI.Understanding of hybrid networking, including VPC routing, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, DNS, and network troubleshooting.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues to varied audiences.
