Location: Seattle, WA Shift: DuPont Schedule (15-17 working days per month)
Day Shift: 5:45 AM - 6:00 PMNight Shift: 5:45 PM - 6:00
AMRequired Skills & Experience:
2-5+ years of experience as an Industrial Electrician working in heavy industrial environments such as steel mills, manufacturing plants, paper mills, refineries, or similar facilities. Proven experience troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining heavy industrial equipment and machinery. Strong understanding of: Motor controls and electrical instrumentation Loop devices and process control systemsPLCs, robotics, and DC motor systems Electrical testing and troubleshooting using multimeters and diagnostic equipment Prior experience working in a mill, manufacturing, or high-production industrial environment. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a maintenance team. Strong problem-solving skills with a hands-on, mechanically curious mindset. We are looking for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, fixing equipment, and continuously learning. Comfortable working rotating shifts in a 24/7 production environment. Demonstrated commitment to safety and adherence to established safety procedures.

Skills & Experience:
Mechanical maintenance experience. Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatic systems. Basic welding and fabrication skills. Experience supporting predictive or preventative maintenance programs.
Job Description:
Insight Global is seeking an Industrial Electrician to join a leading steel manufacturing operation in Seattle, Washington. This individual will report directly to the Electrical Lead and Electrical Supervisor and support either the Melt Shop or Rolling Mill operations. The Industrial Electrician will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, installing, and maintaining complex electrical and automated production equipment within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role requires strong electrical troubleshooting skills, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work collaboratively with maintenance and operations teams to maximize equipment reliability and plant performance. The ideal candidate is a hands-on problem solver who thrives in an industrial setting, enjoys diagnosing complex equipment issues, and takes pride in keeping critical production systems operating safely and efficiently.
