About the role

Fluid Handling Inc. is a leading supplier of Intelligent solutions for hydronic, steam, cooling and vibration isolation systems. With this position you will perform Equipment Field Startups, Service, Warranty Repair and Technical Support required to assist with the company’s sales efforts.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform startup service, warranty service, and certain repair services for all boilers, pumps, and other equipment sold by Fluid Handling, Inc.
  • Work with customers to determine the appropriate solution based on their requests/requirements and ensure that the solution is implemented appropriately
  • Support outside sales teams as required; Technical Support, Parts Identification, Technical Training, and other duties required by the company
  • Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication
  • Perform owner training/customer training as required
  • Any other duties assigned by appropriate personnel
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2 years working with various types of combustion equipment; Power Burners, Packaged Boilers, High Efficiency Condensing Boilers
  • Minimum of 2 years working with various types of hydronic pumps and associated motors
  • Ability to read various types of electrical wiring diagrams and troubleshoot electrical circuits using the appropriate equipment
  • Strong understanding of combustion equipment and the ability to properly operate a combustion analyzer and perform combustion adjustments as required
Minimum of 2 years working with Linkageless Burner Control Systems; Siemens LMV, Auto Flame, Fireye, etc. Ability to troubleshoot steam and hydronic systems Proficient in Microsoft Office Software Products; Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point Excellent communication & collaboration skills Must be a team player with a positive attitude Good driving history Some travel required, including for training. Service area is primarily WI and the UP of Michigan Some travel to job-site requiredSalary is commensurate based off experience/knowledge**Bonus program, full benefits and PTO
