For more information about joining our team, please visit us at www.texascapitalbank.com.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Leadership Develop, execute, and manage a comprehensive Banking strategy within the Private Bank and tactical business plans for driving quality loan and deposit growth, evaluating market opportunities, competitive landscape, and internal capabilities to drive sustainable growthClient Experience Define and champion the overall Private Banking experience; establish standards for client service delivery and lead transformation initiatives to enhance service quality and competitive differentiationPortfolio Development Build and expand the client portfolio through relationship management, targeted business development, and internal collaboration with commercial banking partners to identify cross-sell opportunitiesRelationship Manager Guidance Lead and mentor Bankers on strategies to deliver comprehensive loan and deposit solutions, including interim construction loans, ranch loans, mortgages, securities-based lending, high value asset loans and exclusive deposit products tailored to affluent clientsWealth Management Integration Partner with Private Client Advisors and Investment Advisors to develop and execute integrated business strategies that deliver investment management, trust and estate administration, and comprehensive wealth strategy capabilitiesCredit Management Structure and price credit opportunities in coordination with underwriting and credit approval functions; manage balance sheet review processes to maintain portfolio quality and regulatory complianceTeam Development Coach and develop Bankers on best practices for exceptional customer service, product knowledge, and relationship-building techniques that drive client retention and expansionCommunity Engagement Serve as a representative and ambassador of the organization in the community through professional affiliations, business development activities, and client relationship eventsContinuous Learning Stay current with industry trends, market changes, regulatory developments, and emerging lending practices to ensure competitive positioning and operational effectivenessQualifications & RequirementsRequiredMinimum 15 years of progressive experience in financial services with at least 10 years in private banking, relationship management, or wealth management rolesMinimum 10 years of leadership and management experience, demonstrating ability to build, mentor, and develop high-performing teamsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or equivalent relevant fieldFormal credit training and credit risk management experienceDemonstrated expertise in private client loan origination and portfolio management, with experience managing loans in the $1 million to $100 million rangeProven ability to build and manage balanced loan and deposit portfolios that align with institutional risk appetite and profitability targetsStrong track record of developing, cultivating, and maintaining complex client relationships across diverse organizational structures and transaction profilesWillingness and ability to travel approximately 50% to support client relationships and market development activitiesPreferredMaster of Business Administration (MBA) or equivalent advanced business credentialExperience managing teams of 10+ relationship managers or lending professionalsDemonstrated success in launching or transforming private banking programsFamiliarity with banking systems, portfolio management software, and CRM platformsProfessional designations such as CFA, CFP, or equivalent relevant certificationsCore CompetenciesStrategic Thinking Ability to synthesize market data and organizational capabilities to develop forward-looking strategiesLeadership & Coaching Proven ability to inspire, develop, and hold teams accountable to high performance standardsClient Focus Demonstrated commitment to understanding client needs and delivering personalized solutions that build long-term relationshipsRelationship Management Skilled in building credibility and maintaining complex relationships across multiple stakeholder groupsBusiness Acumen Strong understanding of financial products, credit analysis, risk management, and profitability metricsCommunication Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to articulate strategy clearly to diverse audiencesIntegrity & Compliance Strong commitment to ethical conduct and regulatory compliance in all business dealingsWhat We OfferWe offer a competitive compensation package commensurate with experience, comprehensive benefits, and the opportunity to lead a dynamic team in a values-driven organization.
