About the role
Part-Time General Instructors Wanted Williamson County Parks and Recreation is seeking enthusiastic and skilled Part-Time General Instructors to lead specialized recreational, educational, and art programs for children, teens, and adults. Instructors may have the opportunity to develop and teach classes based on their experience, interests, and qualifications.
Programs may be offered at various Williamson County Parks and Recreation facilities, including:
College Grove
Fairview
Franklin
Hillsboro-Leipers Fork
Nolensville
Longview Recreation Center Spring Hill
Position Details
Position: General Instructor Part-Time
Openings: 23 positions
Schedule: Varies based on program and class offerings
Qualifications & Requirements:
Must be at least 18 years of age
Previous teaching, instructional, or related experience preferred
Demonstrated knowledge, skill, or expertise in the subject or activity being taught
Ability to effectively communicate and work with children, teens, and/or adults
Must submit a class proposal
Must provide teaching references
Must successfully pass a background check
General Instructors may teach a variety of specialized recreational and creative programs, including arts, hobbies, enrichment activities, fitness, educational programs, and other community-based classes.
