Welder Structural

Responsibilities: Perform structural welding and fabrication work according to project specifications, drawings, and instructions. Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and technical documents. Measure, cut, fit, align, and assemble metal components with accuracy. Use welding equipment and related tools in a safe and effective manner. Inspect completed work to ensure quality, dimensional accuracy, and compliance with standards. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Collaborate with team members, supervisors, and other trades to complete projects efficiently. Follow all company procedures, safety guidelines, and applicable industry regulations.

Qualifications: Experience in structural welding or related metal fabrication work. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding specifications. Proficiency with common welding processes used in structural applications. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good communication and problem-solving skills. Physical ability to perform tasks that may include standing, lifting, bending, and working in various environments.

Preferred Skills: Current welding certifications or the ability to obtain them. Experience with structural steel, beams, columns, and related assemblies. Knowledge of fabrication tools, measuring instruments, and rigging practices. Familiarity with shop and field welding environments.
