About the role

Company Description: Host Buddy AI enhances guest communication for short-term rental hosts using advanced AI technology. The platform automates responses to guest messages, troubleshoots common issues, and integrates with property management systems to streamline communications across existing channels. In addition to automation, Host Buddy AI provides key metrics on communication performance and enables intelligent AI-powered templated messaging. The software also tracks guest-reported issues at properties, helping hosts stay informed about items requiring attention and improve overall guest experience. Team members collaborate in a dynamic, tech-forward environment focused on practical solutions for real-world hospitality challenges.

Day-to-day tasks include researching target accounts, engaging prospective customers, clearly communicating product value and use cases, and maintaining accurate records in the CRM. The SDR will also collaborate with sales and marketing to refine messaging, gather feedback from prospects, and support ongoing pipeline growth.
Qualifications: Demonstrated skills in Inside Sales and Lead Generation, including outreach, qualification, and pipeline development. Strong Communication and Sales abilities, with a focus on consultative conversations and clear value articulation. Experience or interest in Business Development, particularly in technology, SaaS, or hospitality-related solutions. Comfort working in a remote contract role, with the ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and meet performance targets independently. Familiarity with CRM tools and basic sales technology platforms (e.g., email sequencing, calling tools) is beneficial. Ability to quickly learn and explain AI-based software features and benefits to non-technical audiences. Previous experience in short-term rentals, property management, or hospitality is a plus but not required. Relevant education or training in business, marketing, communications, or a related field is advantageous.

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
