Overview:
The A.C.Coy Company has an immediate need for a Software Engineer for a full-time opportunity in the Pittsburgh area. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in C#, .NET, modern JavaScript, and full-stack application development. This position will be 60% backend, 40% frontend.
Responsibilities:
This is a hands-on, full-stack development role focused on designing, developing, modernizing, and supporting business-critical web applications and cloud-based solutions. The position involves enhancing existing applications, developing new functionality, integrating systems, and improving overall application performance and user experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications using C#, .NET, and ASP.NET.Develop and enhance front-end applications using Vue.js, React, Angular, or similar JavaScript frameworks.
Build, maintain, and support applications hosted within Microsoft Azure.
Design, develop, and integrate REST APIs, web services, and third-party applications.
Support and modernize existing .NET applications, including legacy systems and Windows/IIS environments.
Collaborate with technical teams and business stakeholders to gather requirements and implement software solutions.
Enhance application functionality, usability, performance, and reliability.
Participate in application modernization, system integration, and cloud migration initiatives.
Troubleshoot application issues, optimize existing code, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
3–5+ years of professional software development experience.
Strong hands-on experience with C#, .NET, and ASP.NET.Experience with front-end technologies such as Vue.js, React, Razor, or MVC.Experience developing and maintaining APIs, web services, and system integrations.1+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services.
Experience working with Microsoft SQL Server and relational databases.
Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
