About the role
Data Entry SpecialistThe primary function of the Data Entry Specialist is for timesheet entry and EVV entry for our centralized branches into Horizon for payroll processing. All time entry corrections from the SDR report will also be made in Horizon by the Data Entry team. Data Entry Specialist will also pre-process payroll for all Addus branches in Horizon and export information for gross to net processing through ADP Vantage. Working remotely! Some OT may be needed at times. Possible weekend work at times during peak payroll holidays.Essential Duties:Assist with payroll processing task including data entry, processing and verificationAccurately enter all payroll related data necessary to process and meet deadlinesResponsible for filing, updating and maintaining employee payroll files as requiredAssist with reviewing and confirming payroll data auditsResponsible for time data entry utilizing Horizon and Cell Trak and other EVV platformsCompleting all corrections on SDRs for centralized branchesAdhering to payroll schedule deadlines and payroll processing datesPre-Processing, exporting and validating payroll files to submit to the Payroll Specialist for gross to net processing in ADPAssist with special projects as neededMaintains a high degree of confidentiality at all times due to access to sensitive informationMaintains regular, predictable, consistent attendance and is flexible to meet the needs of the departmentFollows all Medicare, Medicaid, and HIPAA regulations and requirementsAbides by all regulations, policies, procedures and standardsPerformance Responsibilities:Maintains positive internal and external customer service relationshipsMaintains open lines of communicationPlans and organizes work effectively and ensures its completionDemonstrates team behavior and promotes a team-oriented environmentActively participates in Continuous Quality ImprovementRepresents the organization professionally at all timesPosition Requirements & Competencies:High school diploma or GED required; Associates degree or higher preferredMinimum of 1 year of data entry experience preferredKnowledge working in Horizon preferredMust be detailed orientedExcellent written and verbal communication skillsCapable of learning new technology applicationsAbility to multitask and meet deadlinesExcellent organizational skillsPossess proficient analytical, problem solving and decision making skillsProficient knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, strong Excel skills preferred
