About the role
Fixated is building the operating infrastructure of the creator economy.
That runs through two engines. Talent — we represent and operate businesses for some of the most influential creators on the internet, and sit at the center of one of the largest creator networks in the world. CBM — our brand-side business, built on distribution and audience we own rather than rent, pairing content production with owned-channel reach and paid media.
Two engines, one shared asset base. That's what you'll be selling.
The Role: About Fixated: Fixated is building the operating infrastructure of the creator economy.
The Role: The Director, US Media Sales carries a number and builds the team that carries one alongside you.
This is a true player/coach seat. You'll manage a pod of Account Executives while running your own book, and your quarterly and annual goals split 50/50 between individual and team revenue. That structure is deliberate — we want a seller who is still in the market, still in the rooms, and still closing, because that's the only kind of manager an AE actually learns from.
What You'll Own: Your book
Own an individual revenue target and a named account list across brand-direct and agency
Prospect, pitch, negotiate, and close — independently, with minimal oversight and no ramp-up on the fundamentals
Build multi-threaded relationships across brand marketing teams, agency planning and investment, and holding-company leadership
Structure programs that combine creator partnerships, branded content, owned distribution, and media into a single defensible proposal
Negotiate terms, rates, and deal structure; know where we have room and where we don't
Your team
Manage, coach, and develop a pod of Account Executives against team revenue targets
Run pipeline reviews with real rigor — deal inspection, next-step discipline, honest stage assessment
Get into deals with your AEs when it matters; don't take them over when it doesn't
Hire, onboard, and ramp new sellers as the org grows
Provide accountability and step in when client situations escalates
The business around the deal
Deliver accurate forecasts. We would rather have a smaller number we can plan against than a larger one we can't
Maintain CRM hygiene and pipeline visibility as a non-negotiable, not an afterthought
Partner with Talent, Content, and Media teams to build proposals creators will actually say yes to and operations can actually deliver
Bring the market back inside — what's being bought, what's being priced, where we're losing and why
Represent Fixated at industry events, upfronts, and category conversations
What We're Looking For: Required
6+ years in digital media sales, with at least 2 managing or formally mentoring sellers
A demonstrable book of active relationships with brand-direct marketing teams and agency executives — and the ability to speak to it specifically in an interview
A track record of carrying and hitting a meaningful individual quota in digital advertising
Fluency in the current media landscape: creator and influencer marketing, branded content, social platforms, programmatic and direct-sold dynamics, measurement, and how buyers actually evaluate all of it
Ability to prospect cold, set your own meetings, and present with conviction
Comfort negotiating commercial terms without hand-holding
Strongly preferred
Category depth in CPG, QSR, beauty and fashion, auto, gaming, entertainment, tech, or sports betting
Holding-company relationships (GroupM, Publicis, Omnicom, IPG, Dentsu, Horizon, Stagwell)
Experience selling both media and content — most candidates have one, the strongest have both
Background at a creator network, publisher, platform, or performance media business
Experience selling into a business that changed its product set quickly
Who You Are: You're still a seller.
You solve your own problems.
You see around corners.
You have strong opinions and you'll defend them.
You're coachable.
You're honest about your pipeline.
You want a team.
Fixated is an equal opportunity employer. We're committed to building a team that reflects the diversity of the creators and audiences we serve.

Before you apply
Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.
Your profile is current
It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.
Two examples you can talk through
Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.
A number in mind
What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.
Your notice period
Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.
Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
