General ManagerWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Contract General Manager to oversee operations and drive business growth in Richmond, VA. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, excellent organizational skills, and a proven track record in managing teams and resources effectively.Key Responsibilities:Oversee daily operations and ensure the efficient functioning of all departments.Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve business goals and objectives.Manage budgets, financial performance, and resource and motivate a diverse team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and stakeholders.Implement and manage quality control measures to ensure customer continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.Skills and Qualifications:Proven experience as a General Manager or in a similar leadership role.Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets.Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.Ability to develop and implement strategic plans.Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.Experience in managing cross-functional teams.Knowledge of industry trends and market conditions.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and business management software.Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field (preferred).
