As an unarmed Security Officer at a food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control, and provide exceptional customer service. You will communicate professionally with employees and visitors while using computer or tablet systems as needed. Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour Job Schedule Mon: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PMTue: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PMWed: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PMThur: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PMFri: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PMWhat You'll DoProvide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a food and beverage location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, parking areas, entrances, loading areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Monitor access points and observe visitor, vendor, and delivery activity in accordance with site-specific requirements. Prepare accurate reports of incidents, observations, and security-related activities, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
  • Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
