You will work within a state-of-the-art regional referral center to mentor residents and provide exceptional patient care. Practice Info Indiana University School of Medicine Southwest Indiana Internal Medicine Residency program Good Samaritan is a 156-bed level III Trauma Center and Certified Primary Stroke Center serving a quarter of a million people Accredited Cancer Center on-site, EPIC EMR, Abridge AI, and DaVinci & MAKO robots Outpatient only with multiple subspecialists for consults Residency Outpatient clinic with a precepting ratio of approximately 4:1
Responsibilities: Devote at least 15 hours/week to resident education and administration Evaluate competency domains and work closely with the Program Director Assist in developing and implementing evaluation systems Teach and advise residents Contribute to graduate medical education through the primary role of precepting in the Residency Outpatient clinic Compensation
Salary Range: Negotiable Competitive guaranteed base plus RVU $45,000 sign-on bonus Up to $10,000 paid relocation Additional grant money and incentives may be available due to the approval of a rural health initiative for the state of Indiana

Requirements: Candidate must have an MD, DO, or equivalent degree Be Board Certified or Board Eligible by the American Board of Internal Medicine or equivalent Must be IN licensed (or eligible) Must adhere to ACGME Program Requirements for Residency Education in Internal Medicine regarding faculty expectations H-1B and J-1 visa sponsorship available
