About This Role: Small Business Warehouse/Building Assistant Immediate opening available for an experienced warehouse/building maintenance professional for a 33 year old small retail home decor business (flooring, window treatments and Kitchen and Bath) known for our superior customer service and professional staff. If you are looking for a career, you may be the candidate we’re looking for. If you're a self-motivated and detail-oriented individual, we will provide the tools and training you need to achieve outstanding success. We believe in creating a family friendly work environment, where each person is an integral member of the team, yet responsible for his or her own results.
What You'll Do: Responsibilities for this position include, but not limited to:
  • Small Warehouse
  • Receiving (rolls of carpet, pallets of flooring, window treatments, misc. items)
  • Shipping
  • Warehouse duties
  • Material inventory
  • Installer/Customer Loading
  • DeliveriesMaterial p/uVehicle & Forklift operation and maintenance
Grounds & building maintenance inside and outside (grass, weed control, parking lot and other areas) We provide all the tools. Some purchasing and shopping of ofc supplies
Requirements: Qualifications for this position:
  • High attention to detail
  • Good communication skills both verbally and written
  • Able to take direction and willing to learn our computer system
  • Able to operate a forklift
  • Able to move boxes of tile, wood, laminate and luxury vinyl
  • Able to move boxes of window treatments
  • Good people skills
  • Independent proactive thinker
  • Team player
  • Flexible/Open work schedule
  • Basic handyman skills
