Medical Receptionist - Physical Therapy Department

Medical ReceptionistTRIA is looking to hire a Medical Receptionist to join our orthopedic team! Come join us as a Partner for Good and help us make an impact on the care and experience that our patients and their families receive every day.Position Summary:The primary responsibilities for employees providing support within a department are to greet patients, collect co-pays, schedule follow-up appointments and referrals and support departmental clerical duties.Work Schedule:Shifts are Mon-Fri, varying 8 hour shifts between 6:30a-6:45pmPreferred Qualifications:6 months related experienceSome medical background preferred.Strong verbal and written communicationHuman relations sensitivity and customer service skillsListening and telephone etiquette skillsMedical terminology knowledge desirableComfort in asking patients for copays and race collection.Ability to promote and maintain good patient relations and patient confidentiality.Ability to work in a fast-paced and structured environment.Ability to sit for long periods of time.Ability to key for long periods of timeAccurate computer/keyboarding skills required.Must be proficient in the operation of the following types of equipment: telephone and headsets, PC, printer, photo copier and fax machine.Demonstrates knowledge of age-related growth and development principles necessary to provide appropriate service and assure safety of patients.Benefits:Park Nicollet offers a competitive benefits package (for eligible positions) that includes medical insurance, dental insurance, a retirement program, time away from work, insurance options, tuition reimbursement, an employee assistance program, onsite clinic and much more!About UsAt HealthPartners we believe in the power of good good deeds and good people working together.
