About the Company: MTR Child & Family Services provides Early Education Services, Project ImPACT, Behavior Consultation, and ABA Services to families with children ages 0 to 8 throughout San Diego County.
About the Role: We are seeking a newly certified BCBA (1 or fewer years as a BCBA) who is eager to grow in a supportive, structured clinical environment. This entry-level role is designed for professionals looking to build strong clinical competencies while benefiting from mentorship, manageable caseloads, and a balanced work–life approach. At least 2 monthly 1:1 meetings with the Clinical Director and 2 in-person overlaps per month for support, growth, and collaborative conversations.
Key Responsibilities: Treatment Planning: Assist with oversight and implementation of individualized ABA treatment plans for your caseload Assessments: Conduct assessments and support data-driven treatment decisions (DAYC-2, VB-MAPP, AFLS, QABF, FAST, etc.)Parent Coaching: Provide parent coaching and help generalize skills in the home and community settings. Documentation: Maintain accurate, timely, and HIPAA-compliant documentation. Collaboration: Partner with families, school teams, and interdisciplinary professionals. Team Contribution: Participate in clinical meetings and contribute to case discussions. Supervision & Leadership Mentorship: Supervise and mentor behavior technicians/interventionists. Training: Participate in staff training and development. Ethics: Support strict adherence to BACB standards and ethical guidelines.
Compensation & Benefits: Financial & Work Stability: Annual salary of $80,000–$87,000, standard performance bonuses, plus additional leadership/quality bonuses. Requirements
Education: Master's degree (Required).
Experience: At least 2+ years of experience in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).License/Certification: Newly Certified BCBA (1 year or less).
