Job Description: Business Development Manager – AV Rental & Staging Virginia & Washington, DC Area
Travel: Up to 50%Our client, a respected company in the AV rental, staging, and live event production industry, is seeking a Business Development Manager to expand its presence across the LED, lighting, and live event staging markets. This position reports directly to the National Manager of Business Development and offers the opportunity to work with a company deeply connected to the live events and production industry. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with experience in AV production, rental and staging, or live events who enjoys building relationships, developing new business, and creating long-term client partnerships.
What You'll Be Doing: Developing new business opportunities across the AV, LED, lighting, and staging markets. Building and maintaining relationships with production companies, staging providers, and rental partners. Converting prospects into repeat clients and long-term business partnerships. Identifying sub-rental opportunities and new event production business. Collaborating with internal teams to support client needs and drive revenue growth.
What We're Looking For:
  • 3+ years of business development experience.
  • Background in AV, LED, lighting, rental and staging, or live events.
  • Strong industry relationships and understanding of the market.
  • Proven ability to develop partnerships and grow regional revenue.
