Fiber Instrument Sales/Giotto Enterprises Giotto Enterprises consists of seven companies, all here in the greater Utica/Rome area, and is seeking dependable and reliable individuals in fiber optic manufacturing and assembly.
Duties and Responsibilities: Follow defined procedures to manufacture, assemble and test fiber optic cable. Operate precision automated and manual equipment. Maintain high quality standards and complete quality records. Maintain a safe, clean work area.
Qualifications: Dependable and strong work ethic. Ability to follow directions and attention to detail. Verbal and written understanding of English. High School diploma or equivalent. Ability to work in a team environment to meet daily production goals.
Other Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, climb, balance, and lift for duration of shift. Must be able to lift/carry up to 50lbs. Manual dexterity.
Job Type: Full-time, 7:00am -3:30pm
Salary: $14.20 - $15.00 hourly rate IMPORTANT: Wage rate will be commensurate with position, shift worked, experience, education, and required skills.
