About the role

The ideal candidate will bring at least five years of progressive HR experience in a manufacturing environment and demonstrate a history of growing an organization through recruiting, retaining, and developing a skilled labor workforce and management team. Key Responsibilities: Champions and exemplifies the organization’s culture-first mindset, and Core Values Direct partnership with leadership to influence and execute the organization’s human resource and talent strategy particularly as it relates to recruiting, retention, and succession planning Manages the talent acquisition process, understanding skills and competencies required to recruit, interview, and hire qualified candidates, particularly for skilled trade positions and professional roles Administers new hire and cross training programs. Provides support and guidance to Leadership Staff when complex or sensitive issues arise such as reasonable accommodations, investigating complaints, disciplinary actions, and terminations Recommends professional development opportunities for management, and leaders. Evaluate compensation and benefits trends to ensure competitive and effective programs Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local laws and recommends best practices Owns payroll administration of data changes, accuracy, deductions, reporting and issue resolution Creates and enforces HR policies and procedures to maintain consistency and compliance Required Experience and
Skills: Bachelor’s Degree in HR, Business or related field is required 5+ years of progressive HR experience within a manufacturing environmentSHRM or HRCI Professional Certification are highly desired Articulate verbal and written communication skills with strong analytical and problem-solving skills Manage organization and competing priorities independently in a hands-on environment Behaviors that model integrity and professionalism while maintaining confidentiality Strong working knowledge of HRIS, Payroll and MS Office applications
