Our client is a well-established, privately held third-party logistics provider with more than 20 years in business and a reputation for doing things the right way. As they expand their Managed Transportation solutions, they're adding a proven hunter to bring in new mid-market accounts.
Responsibilities: Identify partnership opportunities Develop new relationships in an effort to grow business and help the company expand Maintain existing business Think critically when planning to ensure project success Sell strategic transportation solutions directly to business owners, operations leaders, and transportation decision-makers Lead consultative conversations across a full suite of services: Managed Transportation, truckload, LTL, partials, drop trailer, and multimodal
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience 3 - 4 years' prior industry related business development experienceA proven track record of winning new business in 3PL, freight brokerage, TL/LTL, managed transportation, or supply chain solutions An established network of shipper relationships and the confidence to open doors at the owner/executive level Strong communication and interpersonal skills Proven knowledge and execution of successful development strategies Focused and goal-oriented
