Global Payroll DirectorNYC | Hybrid schedule (4 days in office)We're partnering with a leading global financial services firm to hire a Global Payroll Director. This is a highly visible leadership role responsible for overseeing the company's end-to-end global payroll function, including payroll operations, governance, accounting, controls, compliance, vendor management, and payroll strategy across multiple jurisdictions. Key highlights: Lead and develop a global payroll team Own payroll governance, controls, and audit readiness Partner closely with Accounting, Tax, Treasury, Legal, HR, and senior leadership Oversee payroll implications of equity compensation (RSUs, stock options, etc.)Drive payroll technology, automation, and process improvements
Requirements: 10+ years of progressive payroll leadership experience Multi-state U.S. payroll expertise with global payroll exposure Strong payroll accounting, SOX/internal controls, and audit experience Experience managing equity compensation through payroll Experience leading teams and managing outsourced payroll vendorsCPP designation preferred Experience with major payroll platforms and HCM/ERP systems (Ceridian Dayforce a plus)
Compensation: $200-300k total comp + $50-100k equity
