About the role

Company Description: The Office Squad started in 2001 as part-time, temporary, home bookkeeping practice. Founded by Dida Clifton, a Air Force veteran who built the company on the same discipline, structure, and accountability she learned in uniform. Today it's grown into a nationwide back-office operations platform, but the mission hasn't changed: give small business owners their time back. Most small businesses don't fail from a bad idea — they buckle under the invoices, payroll, deposits, vendor calls, and daily banking grind that never makes it onto a strategic plan. The Office Squad steps in as a single, accountable partner handling bookkeeping, live administrative support, phone answering, and (in select markets) flexible office and co-working space; so owners can stop drowning in operational minutiae and get back to running their company. We're not a accounting or CPA firm and we don't do tax filings or federal tax work. We're operators, for operators'With the CEO's recent move to the hill country, The Office Squad is launching five-year growth push. Joining now means helping from the ground floor. Not just selling a service, but building a market.

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
