Customer Service Representative & Production Scheduler
Location: Davenport, IA Employment Type: Full-Time Schedule: Monday - Friday, 1st shift
Help Drive Customer Satisfaction and Production Success At Centro, we manufacture products that support many of the world's leading brands and industries. We are looking for a Customer Service Representative & Production Scheduler who enjoys solving problems, building customer relationships, and coordinating operations to ensure products are delivered on time and meet customer expectations. This position plays a critical role in balancing customer needs, production capacity, material availability, and business priorities. You will serve as a key point of contact for customers while helping create and maintain production schedules that support safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing operations.
What You'll Do: Serve as the primary customer contact regarding orders, delivery schedules, product changes, and customer inquiries. Build strong customer relationships through timely, professional communication. Develop and maintain production schedules to support customer demand and operational efficiency. Coordinate with manufacturing, materials, and business unit leaders regarding schedule changes and production priorities. Monitor future production requirements and support capacity planning efforts. Generate reports related to production schedules, customer activity, and production performance. Support continuous improvement initiatives and customer satisfaction goals.
What We're Looking For:
  • Required Qualifications
  • Associate degree in Business or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant business experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in manufacturing production scheduling, customer service, inventory management, supply chain operations, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent problem-solving and customer relationship skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, Communications, or related field.
  • APICS/ASCM certification.
  • Experience with ERP or MRP systems.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles.
  • Manufacturing scheduling experience in a production environment.
