Pay Rate: $37.50 / hour
Schedule: 35 hours per week (Hybrid: Monday–Thursday on-site in Midtown Manhattan, NY; open to part-time hours)
Reports To: Director, Office Services – Travel & Meeting Services
About the Role: We are seeking an analytical and detail-oriented Travel & Meetings Program Specialist to deliver strategic insights, manage key vendor relationships, and optimize our global travel and meetings operations. This individual contributor role acts as a primary subject matter expert, analyzing spend data, driving program compliance, and supporting key technology migrations (including AMEX GBT) to build a best-in-class travel experience across global, regional, and local teams.
Key Responsibilities: Budget & Financial Oversight: Serve as the primary contact for the Travel & Meetings budget. Perform monthly financial reviews with Finance to track expenditures, analyze spend, and ensure budget alignment. Invoice & Payment Processing: Manage invoice tracking, initiate payment approvals, and follow up internally to guarantee timely payments to suppliers. System & Platform Management: Extract Meeting IDs from Cvent to ensure accurate expense tracking. Partner with suppliers to consolidate travel spend data and launch enhanced analytics dashboards. Data & Analytics: Conduct detailed financial analyses and KPI tracking. Deliver ad-hoc presentation decks (Power Point) for leadership to identify savings opportunities, increase online adoption, and reduce leakage. Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with HR, Finance, and frequent travelers to share behavioral insights, execute communications, and ensure program compliance across all brand functions.
Qualifications: Strong background in corporate travel, meetings management, or travel data analytics. Hands-on experience with travel and event platforms (e.g., Cvent, AMEX GBT).Proven ability to analyze complex data sets, perform financial reconciliations, and generate executive-level presentations. Excellent communication skills with experience managing supplier relationships and collaborating across matrixed corporate functions.
