- Working directly with industrial designers and suppliers Who you'll work with You'll work directly with our two co-founders, our industrial designer and our suppliers. You'll partner with our CTO on firmware and embedded software. You'll work remotely, so you'll need space at home to build and test hardware. We'll cover your lab equipment and prototyping costs. Expect occasional travel to meet the team and work with suppliers. Your first 90 days Our first units ship to customers in Q1 2027. You'll be at the center of getting them out the door.1. Get up to speed on our current prototype and help lock the enclosure design.2. Finalize the parts list and order components, with overseas parts ordered well ahead of Chinese New Year.3. Prepare the device for FCC testing and work with the test lab.4. Build, assemble and test our first units with the team. This first run is a small, hand-assembled build. After that, you'll help us choose a contract manufacturer and design the product for production. As we grow, you'll have the chance to build and lead our hardware team. We're looking for someone who
- Has 4+ years of hands-on hardware/product-development experience
- Is comfortable with soldering, oscilloscopes, multimeters and lab equipment
- Has personally brought PCBs to life
- Can debug problems without waiting for another team
- Enjoys rapidly building and modifying prototypes
- Can operate across disciplines rather than staying inside a narrow specialty
- Writes and speaks clear English
- Is authorized to work in the US
- Wants significant ownership in an early-stage company
Before you apply
Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.
Your profile is current
It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.
Two examples you can talk through
Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.
A number in mind
What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.
Your notice period
Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.
Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
