About the role
Call Center Representative - Irwin, PACHS is seeking a professional and customer-focused Call Center Representative to join their client's Support & Service team assisting taxpayers and businesses with account inquiries, tax collections, and compliance-related questions. This role requires prior call center or high-volume customer service experience and offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with hybrid flexibility after training. Shift/hours: Monday-Friday, 8a-4p Pay: $16-18/hour, based on experience Temp-to-hire Hybrid schedule available upon successful completion of temp-to-hire Projected to start September 14th What You'll Do:• Handle inbound calls from taxpayers and business owners regarding accounts, collections, and compliance inquiries • Provide professional and empathetic customer service while resolving issues efficiently • Respond to "Contact Us" email inquiries and complete outbound follow-up calls as needed • Accurately document account activity and update records within the internal database system • Learn and follow all department policies, procedures, and security protocols • Participate in ongoing training sessions and workshops to stay current on processes and regulations • Manage multiple tasks and systems in a fast-paced call center environment What We're Looking For:• Previous call center experience or experience in a high-volume customer service environment is required* • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Ability to problem-solve and think critically while maintaining professionalism • Comfortable navigating multiple computer systems, CRM software, and data entry tasks Nice to Have:• Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus
