About the role

Day to Day job Duties: (what this person will do on a daily/weekly basis)Job DutiesAt least 6 to 8 years' of experience in SAP SD including Shipment and Transportation Functional Consultant Experience in Configuration of LTL, FTL, Packaging and parcel, 3PL scenarios of transportation, Strategic Freight Procurement Configurations.Good understanding of SAP Order Fulfillment Processes (OTC)Implementation knowledge of SAP TM related RFCs, BAPIs, BADIs, BDCs, user exits and enhancementsFunctional-technical expertise of interfacing / integrating a variety of sources, such as barcode scanners, 3rd party applications.Strong functional configuration and implementation experience of complete Sales and Distribution module and Logistics execution.Understanding of transportation planning, scheduling, route determination, route optimization, freight rate management, tendering, SD Order integration etc. Should have logistics interface experience with 3rd party warehouse and other customer owned systemsVery good working knowledge of EDI and IDoc functionalityShould have good working experience on complex customization programs.Good technical understanding at the ABAP level – ability to debug codeGood knowledge of Integration between other modules, MM, LE including PPAbility to plan and deliver client-facing workshops if requiredAbility to write detailed functional specifications.Able to understand and work on Solution Manager Change Management process.ResponsibilitiesSupervising business diagnosis and planning activitiesAnalysing and assuring quality of the data collectedAssisting in formulating the specific solutions to address prioritised gapsSupervising business architecture and process design activitiesAssisting in the development of capabilities and performance measurements/KPIsSupervising business architecture implementation activitiesDefining testing and implementation activities for architectures, capabilities and processesDeveloping and testing business processes, capabilities, and architecturesPreparing the client for deployment (communications, training)Basic Qualifications:5+ yrs exp in SAP-PPBachelors or Masters Engineering degree or equivalent education or equivalent experience Posting Date: Department: -
