Hours:
Approximately 15–16 hours per week Engagement: Ongoing through 2027, with potential to expand or convert to full-timeA fast-growing natural food brand is seeking a hands-on fractional marketing leader to build brand awareness, increase retail velocity, and support its next stage of growth. The company has strong distribution across Whole Foods and Costco and needs an experienced CPG marketer who can connect strategy, investment, and execution directly to commercial results.
Responsibilities:
Develop an integrated marketing strategy across digital, in-store, demos, events, retail media, and brand campaigns. Connect marketing investments to retail velocity, sell-through, awareness, and sales growth. Build and manage the marketing budget, KPIs, and performance reporting. Use consumer, retailer, and store-level data to prioritize initiatives and allocate spend. Partner closely with the founder, internal marketing lead, sales, and operations. Manage and evaluate freelance, creative, media, and agency partners. Remain hands-on with execution in a lean, founder-led environment.
Candidate Profile:
Senior marketing leadership experience within food or beverage CPG.Experience helping an emerging brand scale through approximately the $20M–$100M revenue stage. Direct Whole Foods and Costco experience strongly preferred. Track record of increasing retail velocity, sell-through, awareness, or revenue through marketing. Experience managing integrated marketing budgets across brand, digital, shopper, retail media, and field activation. Comfortable working with limited internal resources and personally driving the work. Prior fractional, consulting, or founder-led company experience preferred.
