About the role
Amazon is seeking a Learning Project Manager to support Global Learning and Development program initiatives. This role will report to the Senior Learning Program Manager. The Learning Project Manager will be responsible for the end-to-end coordination and delivery of learning programs, managing project timelines, driving operational excellence across L&D processes, and ensuring seamless execution of training events and communications. This role combines strategic project management with hands-on administrative ownership to deliver high-quality learning experiences at scale.Successful candidates are natural self-starters who demonstrate strong organizational skills, project management capability, and prior experience in learning administration or training coordination. They will take ownership of program delivery, proactively identify process improvements, and use data to drive decision-making.Key job responsibilitiesOwn the end-to-end coordination of learning programs, managing timelines, dependencies, milestones, and stakeholder communications.Develop and maintain project plans for recurring and ad-hoc learning initiativesIdentify risks, blockers, and dependencies; escalate appropriately and drive resolution.Partner with Learning Program Managers to translate program strategy into actionable delivery plans.Track and report on program KPIs, providing regular status updates to learning leadership.Drive continuous improvement by analyzing processes and recommending scalable solutions.Set up and manage training events on Learn ensuring accurate scheduling and configuration.Arrange Zoom sessions and book meeting rooms required for training delivery.Send attendees calendar invites and manage updates as required.Manage attendee lists both before and after training, ensuring accurate records and follow-up.Create learning assignments and learning removal requests on Learn as required.Attend training sessions where needed to ensure facilitators are set up and attendees have arrived; troubleshoot issues in real timeSend out surveys, collate feedback data, and analyze customer feedback to identify trends, areas of focus, and improvement opportunities for Learning Program Managers.Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to Learning PMs regarding program effectiveness.Own, update, and manage SOPs and training templates, ensuring documentation is current and accessible.Send training communications and ensure consistent messaging across all channels.Other administrative and project tasks as required.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS1+ years of program or project management experienceExperience managing and or coordinating projects in a fast pace environmentExperience in written and verbal communication skills to communicate with technical and non-technical audiences, including senior leadershipExperience with Learning Management Systems (LMS)PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSKnowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)Experience engaging, verbally and in writing, with internal and external stakeholders to convey complex ideas in a clear, concise mannerExperience working within a global company, with multi-country responsibilitiesExperience working proactively and independently, meeting deadlines, and delivering on projects and tasksExperience working in or arranging Learning/Training events at scaleAmazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
