About the role

Our client is currently hiring an Investment Associate (immediate start) based in New York, NY (Hybrid). We are seeking a highly motivated, team-oriented and entrepreneurial individual interested in providing crucial day-to-day support primarily in underwriting, executing and monitoring fund investments. As a lean organization, we expect to provide this individual with client-facing exposure, originating investments and serving our clients.
What You'll Do: • Core understanding of fundamental accounting, credit and financial valuation concepts• Self-starter with an aptitude to lead projects, both as a team and independently• Intellectually curious, with a natural interest to seek out information without guidance• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to present findings and recommendations• Outside the box thinker, willing to speak up and share original value-added opinions• Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to prioritize and time manage appropriately• High proficiency in MS Power Point and Excel
Qualifications
What You Bring: • Bachelor's degree at an accredited university demonstrating academic achievement• 2-4 years of relevant experience providing investment support or advisory services
