About the role
MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Video Teleconferencing Technician to join our team in Doral, FL .
Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To
Perform Tier I & II customer support for VTC systems in a fast-paced environment
Responding to system outages and taking appropriate action(s) to alt-route and/or use available failover/back-up capabilities to meet VTC client needs
Conducting site surveys both remotely and on-site to determine specific requirements for new VTC system installations and/or upgrades
Conducting on-site VTC installations to include assisting with end network device configurations, equipment installations, and equipment configuration and check-out
Scheduling conferences using Cisco’s TelePresence Management Suite (TMS)
Minimum Qualifications
High school Diploma.
A Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a similar field of study is equivalent to 2 years of relevant experience.
5 years’ experience providing tier 1 and tier 2 customer support for Video Teleconferencing systems or in a related role.
Fundamental understanding of IP networks and how they are implemented in support of VTC systems
Preferred Qualifications
Experience at a DoD Combatant Command (e.g., SOUTHCOM, NORTHCOM, CENTCOM, CYBERCOM, INDOPACOM, EUCOM, AFRICOM, STRATCOM, TRANSCOM, SOCOM, SPACECOM) or a component is desired.
Clearance Requirements
Must have a current/active Top Secret clearance.
Must be eligible to obtain a TS/SCI clearance
Physical Requirements
Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.
Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.
The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
