About the Role: The Midtown Group is partnering with a premier, rapidly scaling culture and change consultancy to place a senior-level Organizational Change Management (OCM) leader. Our client works alongside purpose-driven enterprise executives to build high-performance cultures, drive operational efficiency, and accelerate strategic transformation. We have an immediate opening for a Senior Change Management Consultant to lead a critical corporate finance transformation initiative. This role is strictly hands-on: you will not just provide strategic counsel, but actively build, execute, and steer change programs to drive measurable adoption.
Key Responsibilities: Lead Transformation Strategy & Execution: Design and deliver end-to-end OCM strategies for large-scale enterprise finance transformations, with a core focus on financial reporting and data management systems. Executive & Sponsor Alignment: Engage directly with C-suite and finance leaders to drive stakeholder alignment, manage risk, and foster change readiness across business units. Hands-on Delivery: Develop communications, change impact assessments, readiness plans, and stakeholder engagement roadmaps from inception through stabilization. Collaborative Enablement: Partner closely with technical implementation teams and learning/enablement groups to ensure training and change interventions align seamlessly for end-to-end adoption.
Required Qualifications: 10–15+ Years of OCM Experience: Proven track record in dedicated organizational change leadership (not generalized project management with change exposure).Corporate Finance & Reporting Expertise: Demonstrated success guiding corporate finance data management and reporting technology transformations (e.g., ERP migrations, FP&A tool rollouts, enterprise data governance).(Note: This role focuses on internal corporate finance transformation, not financial services, retail banking, or investment portfolio operations.)Active OCM Certification: Must hold at least one of the following: Prosci Certified Change PractitionerACMP Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP)PMI-CP / Change Management Specialist Kotter Methodology Certification Hands-on Mindset: Willingness to operate autonomously and produce tactical deliverables alongside strategic guidance. Contractor Status: Must operate as an established Independent Contractor (1099 or W2).
Preferred Qualifications: Working familiarity with enterprise reporting architectures and BI/reporting platforms (e.g., SAP or Anaplan preferred, but Oracle or Netsuite acceptable).Strong working knowledge of adult learning principles to coordinate effectively with instructional design and training leads.
