Bus Monitor The Bus Monitor assists in the safe transport of students by maintaining order and ensuring adherence to safety protocols on the school bus.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Student Support and Supervision (75%)Assist students on and off the bus
  • Monitor behavior and ensure safety
  • Support students with special needs
  • Communication and Reporting (20%)Report concerns to driver and transportation staff
  • Maintain clear communication with school officials
  • Other Responsibilities (5%)Additional duties as assigned by the Director of Transportation
  • Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GEDExperience working with children
  • Ability to follow safety protocols
  • Preferred Education, Experience, and Skills:
  • Training in student behavior managementCPR/First Aid certification
