Location: San Diego, CA
Contract Duration: (6 Months contract)
Pay Rate: $63/hr. on W2Schedule: Monday – Friday (1st Shift, 40 hrs/week)
Job Overview: Seeking a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team in San Diego, CA. In this role, you will manage the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle—sourcing, engaging, interviewing, and closing qualified candidates for technical and engineering teams. You will act as a talent advisor, partnering closely with hiring managers and cross-functional teams to deliver a top-tier candidate experience while driving talent pipeline strategies.
Key Responsibilities: Full Lifecycle Recruiting: Lead end-to-end recruiting activities including candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, scheduling, offer negotiation, and closing. Hiring Manager Engagement: Partner with business leaders and hiring managers to understand technical talent needs, provide data-driven updates, and guide recruitment strategies. Sourcing & Pipeline Building: Utilize ATS/CRM platforms and proactive sourcing methodologies to identify and attract top-tier engineering and technology talent. Process & Compliance: Apply understanding of TA programs, compensation structures, labor laws, and corporate compliance throughout the hiring workflow. Metrics & Reporting: Pull and analyze recruitment data to track personal/team performance and optimize hiring efficiency.
Required Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (Degree in Business, HR, Humanities, Psychology, or related field preferred).
Experience: 5 to 10 years of experience in technical recruiting within the technology/engineering industry. ATS/CRM Knowledge: Proficiency using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) or CRM platforms (e.g., Workday, Eightfold, Greenhouse).Core Recruiting Skills: Proven track record in candidate sourcing, structured interviewing, hiring manager management, and complex offer negotiation/closing.
Preferred Qualifications: 2+ years of experience with Workday ATS, sourcing tools, compensation/benefits alignment, and strategic workforce planning.1+ year of experience recruiting within a global, matrixed organization.
