About the role

About Sheltra Sheltra is a VC-backed insurance brokerage serving physicians across the US. Doctors overpay for malpractice coverage nobody has ever explained to them. We explain it, and a big part of how we do that is short-form video. What you'll doIdeate: turn the founder's raw ideas and market insights into content concepts, series, and formats for LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. Script: write hooks and scripts the founder can film. Plan and run shoot days in our Manhattan office. Post: own the calendar. Publish on schedule, write captions, reply to comments and DMs, engage with physician and healthcare accounts, grow the audience. Measure: track what works (watch-through, saves, inbound leads) and bring a weekly read on what to do more of. Grow into paid: over time, build and run paid social campaigns and creative tests. A dedicated editor handles the cuts. You own the ideas, the scripts, and the accounts.
Who you are:
  • A student or recent grad who can work after 4pm, 2 to 3 days a week, with some flexibility for shoot days
  • You live on short-form and can say why one video works and another doesn'tYou write well: punchy hooks, clear scripts, captions people finish
  • You take a rough idea and come back with three better versions
  • Ownership: "I've got it" is your default
Bonus: interest in healthcare, startups, or marketing; experience running a brand or creator account; any paid ads exposure Details$20 to $25/hr depending on experience In office in Manhattan for shoot days; planning and posting can be remote Real portfolio work and direct reps with a VC-backed founder Path to a larger role (paid media, content lead) as we grow To apply: include links to 2 to 3 pieces of content you created or ran, and one video idea for a physician audience.

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
