About the role

We have been exclusively retained by a well-established lending company based in midtown Manhattan that seeks to hire a senior paralegal with direct lender finance transactional experience. This is an in-house role for a paralegal who operates with a near-attorney level of independence and judgment on the lender side of loan transactions. Candidates coming from either a law firm finance practice or an in-house lending role are welcome, provided their experience is squarely transactional.
Key Responsibilities: Support lender finance transactions from term sheet through closing and funding Prepare and review loan documents, manage closing checklists, and track conditions to closing Coordinate with borrowers' counsel and other transaction parties to bring deals to closing Handle post-closing matters, including assignments and satisfaction documents Serve as a senior resource on the company's lending transactions What the Company Seeks:10 or more years of paralegal experience Direct lender finance transactional experience (general real estate or finance experience outside of transactional work will not be sufficient)Hands-on experience drafting and closing loan documents on behalf of lenders What the Company Offers: Base salary of about $110,000 - $150,000, depending on experience Full healthcare coverage, individual or family Predictable 9-to-5 hours In-office five days per week in midtown Manhattan We are working directly with the company on this in-house search.
