About the role
To support a growing team, the full-time Licensed Structural Engineer will perform innovative design engineering, including preparing structural designs, conducting calculations, and coordinating with project partners across various power generation projects.
Key responsibilities:
Prepare designs and drawings for assigned structures, including research and analysis for power generation projects
Coordinate with internal and external partners to address structural-related issues and ensure compliance with project specifications
Monitor and update project plans, schedules, and budgets while supporting department managers in achieving performance goalsRequired qualificationsBachelor's degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural engineering from an ABET-accredited program
At least 5 years of experience in structural engineering and design, preferably in the power industry
Proficiency in engineering software, with SAP2000, SAFE, and Mathcad preferred
General knowledge of engineering standards including ASCE 7, ACI 318, AISC 360, and IBC
Licensed Professional Engineer is preferred
