Position Overview: Created Solutions is seeking experienced engineers, scientists, technical leaders, and subject matter experts to support advanced defense R&D programs in Arlington, VA. Successful candidates will provide technical expertise to government program managers, independently assess complex technologies, collaborate across multidisciplinary teams, and communicate with senior government, industry, laboratory, and research personnel. Areas of interest include RF/microwave, antennas, electronic warfare, signal processing, optics, photonics, EO/IR, sensors, microelectronics, semiconductors, materials science, hypersonics, aerospace and propulsion systems, cyber and communications, nuclear engineering, autonomy, robotics, AI/ML, modeling and simulation, experimental physics, space and undersea systems, and advanced manufacturing. Specialized expertise outside these areas is also encouraged.
Responsibilities: Provide scientific and engineering advice to government program managers. Evaluate emerging technologies, technical approaches, test results, and performer progress. Assess technology maturity, technical risk, performance, and transition opportunities. Develop or evaluate technical analyses, models, and test methodologies. Support developmental testing, demonstrations, qualification, and technology transition. Review technical reports, proposals, presentations, and deliverables. Develop and present technical assessments, recommendations, and briefings. Collaborate with government, industry, laboratories, universities, and multidisciplinary teams. Support classified programs and activities as required.
Required Qualifications: U.S. citizenship and active U.S. Government security clearance. Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering, physical science, mathematics, computer science, or related field. Significant professional experience in an advanced technical discipline. Experience supporting defense, intelligence, federal R&D, or national security missions. Ability to regularly work on-site at government facilities in Arlington. Excellent technical judgment and written/verbal communication skills. Ability to communicate complex technical information clearly to technical and senior leadership audiences. Highly DesiredActive Top Secret or TS/SCI clearance. SAP or special-access experience. DARPA, SETA, or A&AS experience. Experience with government R&D organizations, military laboratories, the Intelligence Community, FFRDCs, UARCs, or National Laboratories. Master’s degree or PhD. Recognized subject matter expertise. Experience advising government program managers, leading multidisciplinary teams, or supporting advanced technology development, testing, and transition.
