Location: Nashville, TN (South Nashville)
Schedule: Hybrid, 3 days onsite / 2 days remote
Pay Rate: $35-$39/hour

Industry: Global ManufacturingLHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a well-established global manufacturing company in the Nashville area to identify a Senior Payroll Specialist. This is an excellent opportunity for a payroll professional who enjoys owning the full payroll process, working with large employee populations, and partnering with HR and Finance teams in a fast-paced environment. This is an urgent hiring need, and our client is ideally seeking someone who can start within the next two weeks.
What You'll Do: Process full-cycle, multi-state payroll accurately and on schedule Manage payroll transactions including new hires, terminations, promotions, bonuses, commissions, and deductions Audit payroll data and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations Research and resolve payroll discrepancies and employee inquiries Maintain payroll records and support internal and external audits Partner closely with HR, Benefits, and Finance teams to ensure payroll accuracy Prepare payroll reports and assist with month-end and year-end activities Identify opportunities to improve payroll processes and efficiencies
Qualifications: Minimum 4 years of in-house, full-cycle payroll processing experience Experience processing payroll for medium to large employee populations Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs, XLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables Data analysis and reporting Experience with ADP Workforce Now (WFN) preferred Experience with ADP eTime highly desired but not required Strong understanding of payroll compliance, wage laws, and payroll tax considerations Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a high-volume environment Strong communication and customer service skills
Additional Requirements: Must reside in Middle Tennessee Must be comfortable commuting to the South Nashville office three days per week Ability to work a standard 40-hour work week Available to start within the next two weeks is strongly preferred Why Consider This Opportunity?
