This a hybrid position that requires a minimum of 3 days/week in-office, located in Tysons Corner, VA, with significant customer-facing travel, as required* The Senior Director, U.S. Federal Sales will play a key role in expanding the company’s presence across the U.S. defense and intelligence community, driving adoption of advanced space, data, and intelligence capabilities that support critical national security missions. This leader will help shape the federal growth strategy, build and develop a high-performing sales organization, and lead strategic pursuits that expand the company’s impact across the federal market. Responsibilities of the Sr. Director, US Federal Sales: Own and drive federal new business revenue, pipeline development, forecasting, and growth strategy across defense, intelligence, homeland security, and broader federal markets. Maintain a personal quota and lead the identification, pursuit, and closing of complex strategic federal opportunities. Lead, coach, and develop federal sales professionals across multiple territories while driving team performance and accountability. Build and maintain strategic relationships with senior government stakeholders, federal agencies, prime contractors, and systems integrators. Lead strategic pursuits and position commercial data, intelligence, RF/geospatial, analytics, and space-based capabilities against customer mission requirements. Partner with executive leadership, product, engineering, mission solutions, and technical teams to develop solutions and execute complex customer pursuits. Develop territory and account strategies while maintaining accurate visibility into pipeline, bookings, revenue, and sales performance. Support capture, acquisition, and go-to-market strategies while helping shape the organization's long-term federal growth strategy. Qualifications for the Sr. Director, US Federal Sales:8+ years of federal sales experience with a proven track record of personally owning and closing complex opportunities. Experience selling data, analytics, intelligence, geospatial, RF, SIGINT, GEOINT, commercial space, or related technology solutions into federal markets. Experience leading, coaching, and developing sales professionals. Strong knowledge of federal acquisition processes and contracting vehicles, including IDIQs, OTAs, GSA Schedule, and SEWP. Experience selling into DoD, Intelligence Community, DHS, and/or other federal organizations and working across technical and executive stakeholders. Strong executive communication, customer relationship, pipeline management, and forecasting skills. *Active TS/SCI clearance* *Ability and Willingness to work a hybrid schedule, minimum 3 days/week in-office, in Tysons Corner, VA, including frequent travel as required, for: classified site visits, agency meetings, Defense & Intelligence conferences, Industry events, & partner engagements.
Preferred: Military, Intelligence Community, or national security background; established federal relationships; and commercial space, RF intelligence, GEOINT/SIGINT, or multi-INT experience. Compensation for the Sr. Director, US Federal Sales:
Base Salary: $200,000 - $230,000 *depending on experience*
Additional Compensation: Commission + Annual equity awards
