The Role Zencore is seeking a Strategic Sales Director to acquire new strategic logos in the Google Cloud enterprise client base. This is a senior sales role focused on identifying, developing, and closing complex Google Cloud professional services opportunities with large enterprise organizations. The ideal candidate is a consultative seller focused on hunting for new business within strategic customers. We define strategic as a client that represents a $1M+ recurring annual services revenue opportunity. The candidate must understand how to navigate complex enterprise sales processes, build relationships with C-level executives, manage partner relationships and translate business challenges into high‑value cloud consulting engagements. This person will partner closely with Zencore's executive leadership, solution architects, and delivery teams to develop account strategies, shape solutions, and lead opportunities from initial conversation through close. Responsibilities Own the full sales cycle, from prospecting and opportunity development through negotiation and close. Identify and develop large strategic professional service opportunities for Google Cloud. Specifically focused on cloud transformation, data, AI and infrastructure. Develop and execute strategic account plans Build trusted relationships with the C-suite, senior technology, data, infrastructure leaders, and business executives. Sell complex, high-value professional services and consulting engagements to enterprise organizations. Lead executive presentations, proposals and commercial negotiations. Develop relationships with Google Cloud and other strategic technology partners to create joint opportunities. Understand client business challenges and translate them into strategic consulting and technology solutions. Qualifications 10+ years of enterprise sales experience, preferably within professional services, consulting, systems integration, or cloud services. Proven track record of selling professional services and consulting engagements to large, complex enterprise organizations. Cloud experience is required, with Google Cloud experience strongly preferred. Demonstrated success developing and closing complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise opportunities. Experience selling cloud transformation, technology consulting, managed services, or related solutions. Established relationships with enterprise technology and business decision-makers. Ability to engage credibly with CIOs, CTOs, CDOs, CISOs, and other senior executives. Strong understanding of consultative and value-based selling. Demonstrated history of owning their own sales quota and achieving or exceeding them. Experience managing long, complex sales cycles and navigating enterprise procurement processes. Strong negotiation, presentation, communication, and executive relationship-building skills. Ability to work effectively with technical architects, consultants, and delivery teams. Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑growth consulting environment. Preferred Qualifications We are particularly interested in candidates who have experience selling professional services from organizations such as: Google Cloud Partners AWS or Microsoft Cloud Partners Global Systems Integrators Technology consulting firms Management consulting firms Cloud-focused professional services organizations Managed services providers Experience selling professional service solutions into Financial Services, Manufacturing, Healthcare, Retail, Technology, or other large enterprise industries is a plus. Preferred Background We may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support parts of the hiring process, such as reviewing applications, analyzing resumes, or assessing responses and identifying potential inconsistencies or verification signals in application materials based on available information.
