You'll design RF signal paths, low-noise analog circuitry, clocking systems, and power architectures while collaborating closely with FPGA, PCB layout, embedded software, and systems engineering teams. Your work will span the complete product lifecycle—from concept and simulation through hardware validation and production—allowing you to influence architecture decisions, solve challenging signal integrity problems, and contribute directly to next-generation RF and mixed-signal platforms.Huntsville, Alabama is one of America's fastest-growing technology cities and consistently ranks among the nation's best places to live. Residents enjoy scenic parks, hiking trails, entertainment districts, and a vibrant engineering community.Must HaveBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent industry experience Expertise designing complete RF and mixed-signal signal chains, including RF front ends, analog filtering, ADC/DAC interfaces, clock generation, synchronization, and low-noise power architecturesExperience taking complex RF hardware from system architecture through schematic capture, PCB implementation, hardware debugging, validation, and productionStrong understanding of RF design theory, including filter design, impedance matching, signal integrity, noise mitigation, shielding, grounding, and high-speed mixed-signal PCB implementationExtensive experience selecting and integrating high-speed ADCs and DACs from vendors such as Texas Instruments, Analog Devices, or similar manufacturersStrong experience designing RF circuits operating up to 18 GHzStrong understanding of digital interfaces connecting high-speed converters to FPGA-based processing architecturesExperience designing programmable clock generation and distribution systems supporting multiple sampling rates and bandwidthsExperience designing low-noise power supplies for high-performance mixed-signal and RF systemsHands-on laboratory experience using oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, network analyzers, and related RF test equipmentExperience collaborating closely with PCB layout engineers to optimize component placement, controlled impedance routing, grounding, isolation, and manufacturabilityStrong troubleshooting skills with the ability to analyze and resolve complex analog and mixed-signal performance issuesHighly DesiredExperience designing systems using AMD Xilinx RFSoC devicesExperience with board-to-board synchronization, timing distribution, phase alignment, and multi-board RF systemsStrong experience designing RF circuits operating up to 30 GHzExperience with Mentor Graphics Xpedition DxDesignerExperience with complex multilayer PCB technologies, blind/buried microvias, and low-loss RF materialsPrevious experience developing RF hardware for defense, aerospace, electronic warfare, communications, radar, or embedded computing applicationsStrong technical leadership with the ability to mentor engineers and contribute to architecture decisionsSalary Range: $110,000 - $140000 up to $160,000 is negotiable for superstar candidateLocation: Huntsville, AL Relocation: YesType of Role: Full-time, Direct HireTravel Required: MinimalVisa Sponsorship: U.S. Citizen or Green Card
