Band Saw Operator/Production Worker (Entry-Level | Manufacturing) Pittsburgh, PA Full-Time | No Weekends Starting at $20.00/hour Union Benefits Now Hiring: Band Saw Operators / Entry-Level Manufacturing Workers We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Bandsaw Operator to join our team. In this role, you will operate industrial bandsaw equipment to cut materials according to specifications, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and high-quality output. This is a full-time position offering competitive starting pay and opportunities for growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up and operate bandsaw machinery to cut metal and other materials
Measure and mark materials to ensure precise cuts
Monitor machine operation and make adjustments as needed
Perform routine equipment maintenance and safety checks
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Follow all safety guidelines and company procedures
Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met Preferred Skills:
Experience operating industrial bandsaws or similar cutting equipment
Proficiency with measuring tools (tape measures, calipers, micrometers)
Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability for equipment issues
Familiarity with preventative maintenance and blade changes
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

Qualifications: Mechanical aptitude and experience with band saws and other cutting equipment Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods Strong attention to detail, safety, and quality Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented

Requirements: 18 years old Valid driver's license & reliable transportation Ability to work weekday shifts (Monday–Friday, no weekends) Previous Band Saw experience required Pay & Benefits: Starting wage: $20.00/hour (based on experience) Union benefits package (United Steelworkers)
